It’s time to stop dying while typing. Emotes were available during past events, but now they’ll be usable all the time as an added means of customisable expression.

To celebrate launch, everyone will get a free thumbs-up emote to equip and try out!

Get started by equipping emotes in your Collections tab.

Equip emotes to a wheel with five slots. In your loadout, there are two extra slots for emotes that will automatically flash at the start of the game and at the end of a win.

Once you get into game, the default keybind for the emote wheel will be T, but you can rebind it like any other key (looking at you, Lee Sin mains).

If you’re on the fast track to Tilt City, you can individually mute emotes via the scoreboard. We’re also adding a “mute enemy emotes” option in the in-game settings. Emotes will also “break” and go on cooldown if you take any champion damage while emoting.

Start your collection by going to the new Emotes tab in the store.

To celebrate the launch of emotes, each individual emote is 350 RP until October 24, 2017, when they’ll return to their standard price of 450 RP each.

The Emotes Starter Set will go live with patch 7.20 and we will extend the availability duration accordingly. Sorry for the wait!

Starting October 11, 2017, we’ll introduce the Emote Starter Set. This set includes four emotes PLUS the exclusive “Surrender @ 20” emote available only through the bundle. Grab the bundle in the store for 975 RP before it disappears on October 24, 2017. If you purchase emotes before bundles are available, we’ll refund the difference between what you paid and the price for the emotes in the bundle by November 12, 2017 at 05:59 am AEDT.

Refer to our FAQ for specific refund amounts, or if you have any other questions about emotes.

Please emote responsibly.
