Level Up Your Mental Health

By Conquisitor

Riot Games is a company built by gamers, and everything we try to do is for gamers like you. While there are many different types of gamer within these walls, we all share something in common, we all believe there is a healthy balance to be had between gaming and the other things that enrich our lives.

In fact, we know we’re not the only ones to care about this. In a recent survey, Oceanic League of Legends players told us the number one thing they care about outside of the game is their ‘mental health and wellbeing’. That’s why we’ve joined forces with headspace in Australia and Le Va in New Zealand, so that you, your friends, family or loved ones can understand how healthy gaming habits can bring about improvements in mental health and wellbeing.

From healthy attitudes towards gaming, to sleep and screen time, we’ve developed a series of new resources to help you enjoy all that gaming has to offer, whilst not letting it impact the other areas of your life. Read it, share it, talk about it.

By maintaining a healthy balance of gaming in your life, it might be the game changer you’re looking for.

Learn With League

We’ve just launched Learn With League, a program designed to bring the learning benefits of League of Legends into the lives of young people across Oceania; through schools, community groups and their parents. We believe that gaming can teach young people new skills to live life in a positive and meaningful way, ready to cope with life’s changes and challenges.

How does it work? It starts with a conversation. Check out the new site, and share it with the people who might be interested in learning about a new way to support you - your parents, teachers and community group leaders.
